Belly Dance

We welcome everyone, especially if they have no previous contact with belly dance. In class, we obtain basic knowledge about belly dance. The beginners’ course includes: basic movements, warm-ups, stretching, Arabian music and culture, an overview of the various belly dance styles and choreographies! Belly dance lessons are a cocktail of knowledge about a specific dance technique, Arabian music and its culture.

NB! Belly dance really is suitable for women of all ages and sizes!

Belly Dance intermediate level – Teacher Berit Vill

Everyone who has passed the beginners’ course – has taken lessons for at least 6 months – is welcome. We learn different choreographies, work on and learn new technique. This course includes: more difficult movements and combinations (hagallah, 3-4 shimmy, zaki, fellahin etc), various belly dance styles (modern belly dance, Tarab, mecanse) as well as folklore (saidi, hagallah, khaliji, ghawazee, iskanderani, shaaby etc).

Belly Dance advanced level – Teacher Berit Vill

We await all those who wish to hone their knowledge of belly dance to perfection and who have been dancing for at least 2 years. We learn various belly dance styles (modern belly dance, Tarab, mecanse) as well as folklore (saidi, hagallah, khaliji, ghawazee, iskanderani, shaaby etc).

We also have theoretical lessons, where the topics include the history of Arabian countries, their music, culture, dancers and different styles.
